This position is based at our Davies location (Dupont Avenue S & 23rd Street).

This position is based at our Davies location (Dupont Avenue S & 23rd Street).
The Prearrangement Support Specialist provides essential administrative and operational support to the Preneed Program, ensuring that agents, arrangers, and funeral directors have accurate information, timely resources, and organized systems to serve families effectively. This role requires strong clerical skills, attention to detail, and professionalism when handling sensitive family information.
Key Responsibilities:- Distribute arranger schedules to chapels, monitor and respond to emails and voicemails, and provide timely support to agents and funeral directors
- Enter new leads into the sales management system (Precoa), review prearrangement files for accuracy, and maintain current records, including aftercare and seminar leads
- Process insurance claims for FDLIC, non-FDLIC, and Claimcheck policies; prepare paperwork for families and funeral directors; notarize documents; and maintain claim records in Passare
- Coordinate seminar materials, including supplies, folders, RSVP lists, and seminar boxes; prepare lead reports for agents and support follow-up activities
- Order and maintain supplies, assist with mailings such as unfunded letters, maintain tracking spreadsheets, and complete other clerical tasks as assigned
- Serve as a reliable resource for Prearrangers and Funeral Directors, assisting with questions and providing backup support as needed
- Answer calls from Clients with questions about or changes to their policies
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive records and family information
- Some post-secondary education and at least three years of office experience, or equivalent
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with a professional and courteous telephone manner
- Excellent customer service abilities to interact effectively with families, agents, and funeral directorsIntermediate computer proficiency, including text and data entry
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong clerical skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with insurance processes preferred

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
