Description:

Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapels, Cemeteries, and Cremation Services—a trusted funeral service provider in the Twin Cities for over 165 years—is seeking personable, compassionate professionals to join our team as part-time Drivers. Positions are based out of our main facility in Uptown Minneapolis (23rd & Dupont).

Drivers are an essential part of the care and service we provide to families. In this role, you will transport casketed decedents, urns, floral arrangements, and other service materials to chapels, churches, cemeteries, and our crematory. Additionally, you will assist Funeral Directors and chapel staff with visitations and funeral services. Drivers also travel to all of our metro locations in company vehicles to shuttle interoffice correspondence, supplies, and other essential materials, ensuring seamless communication and operational connectivity with our main facility.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 75 pounds using transport gurneys and equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, if needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 16–24 per week

Experience:

  • Demonstrated customer service experience is a plus
