Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapels, Cemeteries, and Cremation Services, a trusted family-owned funeral service provider in the Twin Cities since 1857, is seeking a dependable professional to join us as a part-time Floral Designer This position is based at our Davies location at Dupont Avenue S and 23rd Street.
We need someone who is excited about creating floral tributes for our families This position will advise Licensed Funeral Directors in designing floral arrangements and will perform various tasks in the in-house floral shop in a studio setting The candidate must be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, with genuine enthusiasm for floral work, including sympathy design, and a commitment to exceptional service.
Requirements:
- At least three years of floral design experience, including sympathy work
- Knowledge of fresh floral product, design techniques, and mechanics
- Experience designing Teleflora, FTD, and 1-800-Flowers funeral arrangements
- Ability to stand for the duration of a shift
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Passion for quality products and excellent customer service
- Tech savvy, with general knowledge of Microsoft programs
- Experience working with databases; ribbon production experience is a plus
- Ability to work within defined price ranges and budgets
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including rotating weekends as needed

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.0 - $23.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 16–24 per week
