Mr. Timothy Kreps

Timothy Kreps, age 62 of Rogers, went home to the Lord on March 13, 2020. Tim and Linda have four children and have great joy in their home. Tim’s career started out in radio and later he joined in the family candy business started by his father, Jack Kreps. Tim and Linda worked as business partners starting Kreps Jewelry out of Willmar, MN. Tim was a gemologist for more than 37 years and enjoyed sharing the sparkle of diamonds with others. They followed many business opportunities and settled in Rogers, MN in 1994 on their hobby farm. Being self employed offered great flexibility to Tim as he enjoyed many outdoor hunting and fishing adventures. He and Linda were also quick to offer help and volunteered at the Bibles For Missions Thrift Store weekly over the years. Tim had a special place in his heart for a small church in Honduras that he visited and supported in numerous ways. Tim and Linda were always opening their home to those that needed a place to stay and whatever they had they were willing to share. Tim never tired of making pancakes from scratch for the numerous grandchildren that jumped at the opportunity for a sleepover! Tim was usually the loudest fan in the stand and often in the church pew as well. He chose to live life big and generously! Annual family vacations were a priority as he loved laughing, teaching, and spending precious time with his children and grandchildren. Tim passionately loved his kids and grandchildren and his greatest joy was seeing them come to know the Lord and continue to serve Him. Tim is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Linda Joy (Evink) Kreps of Rogers, MN; four children, Amanda (Joel) Nydam of Andover, MN., Jeremy (Amber) Kreps of Rogers, MN., Dan (Ashley) Kreps of St. Michael, MN., and Kenny (Katelyn) Kreps of Rogers, MN.; 14 grandchildren; 4 siblings along with spouses; his mother, Caroline Kreps; and hundreds of close friends. Tim is now reunited with his father, Jack Kreps, who went to be with the Lord last month. Memorial Service to be held on Sunday, March 22nd visitation from 1-2 pm, Funeral at 2 pm, at NorthRidge Fellowship Church, 12522 Main St, Rogers, MN 55374, with streaming options available. As an expression of sympathy, donations will be given to the Honduras Water Project. Donations will be accepted through NorthRidge Fellowship Church.
