In loving memory of Therese Marie Asche (Nagel), a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother from Maple Grove, MN, who unexpectedly passed away on January 19, 2024. Born on November 7, 1947, to Arnold and Lewine Nagel in Little Falls, MN, Therese (Terri) was one of 14 children in her extended family. She graduated from St. Francis High School (Frannie) where she created lifelong friendships. She later moved to Minneapolis, where she met Charles Asche at Schaefer Corp. Charlie and Terri were united in marriage on April 16, 1973; recently celebrating 50 years of marriage. Terri dedicated her professional career to the Osseo Public Schools, where she worked alongside her longtime friend from Kindergarten, Kathy Dwyer for a handful of years. She was dedicated to her students by providing behavior and educational support. She also provided students with necessities such as warm clothes during the winter months. An outgoing and gregarious soul, Terri effortlessly made friends wherever she went. She is known for engaging in lively conversations with her favorite restaurant waitstaff or sporting parents. Even the neighborhood dogs would stop at the end of the driveway to see if Terri would be coming out with a treat. A pillar of love and support, Terri cherished attending her children and grandchildren's events; ensuring she never missed a dance recital, baseball game, or track meet. Known for her baking skills, she delighted in stocking loved ones' refrigerators with various treats. Her greatest joy was spoiling her grandchildren Olivia, Gavin, and Nolan with candy, treats, and toys. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and generosity. Therese is survived by her husband Charles Asche, daughter Michelle, son Christopher, his wife Jennifer, grandchildren Olivia, Gavin, and Nolan Asche; her siblings Gordy Nagel (Janet), Donald Wheeler (Geri), Tom Nagel (Nancy), Karen Wheeler, Jim Nagel (Jan), and Julie Eberhart (David), along with numerous nieces and nephews great and beyond. She is preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Lewine Nagel (her mother passed away when Terri was only 5 years old) her step-mother Mae Nagel, and siblings Laurel Roe (Gerry), Arnie Nagel Jr (Linda), Gordie Wheeler Sr (Kathy), Louie Nagel (Terri), Jean Ann Hayen (John), JoAnne Nagel, and Joe Nagel (Sue). A Celebration of Life will take place on January 27th, 2024, at Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven 5125 W Broadway, Crystal, MN. The service will be held at 11:00am with visitation starting at 10:00am. A luncheon will be served at the Brooklyn Park Community Center following the ceremony.
