Patricia Claire White

Patricia (Patti) White, 76, of Roseville, formerly of Circle Pines, Minnesota passed away surrounded by loved ones onAugust 8, 2021. Patti was born on July 10, 1945 in Wheaton, Minnesota. Patti graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School in 1963. She began her studies at St. Cloud State, before transferring to Augsburg College and earning a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education in 1966. To begin her career she returned to St Cloud and taught second grade at Madison Elementary and then Westwood Elementary from 1967 to 1972. She took a break from her career to enjoy time raising her two daughters. When ready, she returned to work, this time for the U.S. Postal Service. She was promoted to the position of Mail Piece Design Analyst, where she loved the work and she remained until eligible for retirement. She retired in 2012 to spend more time pursuing her passions: grandchildren, friends, reading, gardening, and travel. Patti is survived by her daughters, Cassondra (Gonzalo Esparza) White and Emilee (Kip) Alms; her grandchildren, Gonzalo, Gabriella, Oliver, and Huxley; her sister, Sara (Gary) Benson; her beloved four-legged companions, Lenee and Woodee; and many other loving relatives and friends. Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad Palmgren and Doris (Hahn) Palmgren; and her brother, Peter. Patti's unofficial motto was "Live. Laugh. Love." and she strived to do all three daily. Her generous heart, wide smile, and quick wit will be missed daily but remembered for forever. She was very active in her local community and dedicated to giving of herself to causes she believed in. A celebration of life service will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on Lexington Avenue on Friday August 27 at 11:00 am (gathering 10:00 am). A luncheon will follow from 12:30pm to 2pm at the Centennial Library Community Room in Circle Pines.
