Lois Ruth Hendrickson

Lois Hendrickson passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, quiet strength and welcoming spirit. Lois was known for her generous heart and her ability to make everyone feel welcome. She helped countless people along the way, often taking others in when they needed it most, and offering comfort without judgment. Her home was a place of safety and warmth. She had a gift for making people feel comfortable, valued, and understood no matter their circumstances. Lois was also feisty, honest, quick witted, fun, and known for offering gentle advice that came from a place of love and wisdom. She found joy in the simple things that made life meaningful. Lois was an avid reader, especially of mystery novels, and could finish several books in a week. She loved gardening, keeping up with her weekly crossword puzzle, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Her laughter, strength and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Lois is lovingly remembered by her children: Laura (Jim) Stauffenecker, Karen (Ian) Beveridge and Merilee (Terry) Holm. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Annie (Scott) Erdman, Alastair (Carmel) Beveridge, Chad (Amanda) Stohr, CJ (Kat) Holm, Nick (Katie) Holm, Katie (Mike) Cragoe, Karlie Holm, Brittany Bennett, and a cherished great grandmother to 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Carol (Len Score), Nita (Tim) Kaster and Paul (Becky) Torkildson, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were touched by her kindness. To her family and friends, Lois was a steady source of love and support. She listened without criticism, gave without expecting anything in return, and believed deeply in the goodness of people. Her compassion and gentle spirit touched many lives, and the impact of her care will be felt for years to come. Lois will be remembered for her open heart, her generosity, and the way she made others feel at home. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the lives she uplifted will remain her lasting legaсу. Lois went to heaven on Feb 6, 2026 where she is at peace and reunited with her beloved Ven, her Mom and Dad and her brother David. Rest in peace, Grandma Lois.
