LeAnn Rose Lewno

LeAnn Lewno Beloved sister, aunt, and friend of St. Anthony, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the age of 81, surrounded by family and friends. Born on January 21, 1944, LeAnn was the cherished daughter of Alex and Agnes Lewno. She was a lifelong Minnesotan and a woman of quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering devotion to her family. For nearly 20 years, she made her home at Autumn Woods Apartments in St. Anthony, where she built lasting friendships and a close-knit community. LeAnn is preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Agnes Lewno; her brother, Bob Lewno; Bob's first wife, Lorraine Lewno; her niece and nephews Dianne Lewno, Mike Lewno, Pammy Lewno (infant daughter of Bob and Lorraine Lewno), and Ronald Doll (infant son of Dick and Dianne Doll); and her former brother-in-law, Dick Doll. She was also preceded in death by many aunts and uncles who shaped her early life, and by cousins whose memories she carried with love. She is survived by her loving sister, Dianne Doll; her sister-in-law, Mary Jo Lewno, widow of Bob Lewno; her nephew Tim Lewno; her nephews Rick Doll, Bobby Doll and former wife Erin, and David Doll; her niece Christy Blair and her husband Richard; and her nephew Jeremy Lewno and his wife Hadley. She is also remembered by many great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as many great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, all of whom carry forward her legacy of kindness and quiet grace. Her lifelong friend, Mary Currey, remains a treasured part of LeAnn's story. LeAnn was a devoted member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Minneapolis, where her quiet faith guided a life of service and community. During the course of her life, LeAnn worked as an accomplished accountant at Honeywell, the University of Minnesota, Comprehensive Epilepsy, and the Child Neurology Society. She was known for her precision, professionalism, and quiet dedication to her work. LeAnn will be honored with a funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Brighton, Minnesota. In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest near her parents at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights. The funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, October 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with visitation beginning one hour prior.
