David Louis Paron

David Louis Paron, age 76, of Isanti, MN, passed away on February 16, 2024. Born in Minneapolis, David grew up in New Brighton, MN. David was the favorite son of August and Josephine Paron, who preceded him in death. David is survived by his daughters, Cassandra and Rachel, and siblings Mary Jo & Al Koering, John & Carolyn, Greg & Jean, Larry & Kathy, and Joan & Rob Burman, as well as his nieces, nephews, Dean, Anita (AJ), Dan, Colleen, Sue, Anne, Julie and numerous cousins. David was proud to have served his nation as a soldier in the United States Army at Fort Polk, Louisiana for three years as a Specialist Fourth Class. The Family would like to extend our gratitude to the Military Veterans Home of Fergus Falls, MN. Their wonderful, kind and professional staff provided loving care and support during David's last eight months. David enjoyed participating in choir, acting in the "Sound of Music" play, winning at Bingo, going to town for the parades and seeing all the tractors. David attended church services and visiting with the pastor at the VA center. David cherished his time at the Veterans Home, where he made it a point to learn the names and stories of each veteran. The staff would tell David's family who visited of David's positive impact he had on their staff and his fellow military veterans. For many years, David's lakeside home was his paradise. David held many family parties and he was delighted with boat rides and in pulling family and friends around the lake on skis and water toys, and hosting pontoon boat cruises. No one knows how many years David was committed to Bowling and softball. he loved the competition and keeping in good shape to be competitive. It was fortuitous for his parents, because before and after David went to the Bowling Alley, or softball games he had dinner at his folk's home. David was the favorite. Visitation - Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM, followed by Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 611 Third St S, Stillwater, MN 55082. Lunch following service. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on June 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Military Honors.
