Caddie Othelia May Cooper, being the feisty spitfire she was, came into this world on November 2, 2012. Her dimples proved to be one of her most endearing features that drew you to her before you even knew how beautiful she was inside. Caddie possessed a light so extraordinary that everyone who knew her was forever changed by it. Her presence brought warmth, creativity, compassion, and joy into the lives of those around her, and those who loved her never wanted that light to fade. Unfortunately, on Monday, August 17, 2026, Caddie left her earthly body behind and entered the gates of heaven to spend eternity in the loving arms of Jesus. Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we find comfort, knowing that her beautiful spirit is now at peace. Caddie had a natural gift for art that was evident from the moment she could hold a crayon. With her remarkable imagination, she began drawing everything that captured her attention and inspired her, bringing her unique perspective and creativity to life through every creation. She had a beautiful ability to see the world not only as it was, but as it could be, finding beauty and possibility in everything around her. Caddie never kept her talents to herself. She loved sharing her artwork with others, whether they were family, close friends, or even complete strangers who showed an interest in her creations. She gave pieces of her art freely and generously, never expecting anything in return. Because of her generous heart, there are likely countless "Caddie originals" scattered throughout Minnesota, each one serving as a little reminder of the remarkable young girl who created it. As Caddie grew older, her passion for creating evolved from drawing into crafting, with sewing becoming one of her greatest loves. After receiving a sewing machine as a generous gift from her beloved friends, affectionately known as "the puzzle people," Caddie began creating her own furry masks and elaborate costumes. From there, she taught herself. She was curious, determined, imaginative, and incredibly resourceful. She poured hours of love and creativity into each creation, dreaming of the day when she might be able to sell her handmade designs and turn her passion into something even greater. Caddie's creativity was only one part of the remarkable young woman she was becoming. Another great love of her life was animals. She had an extraordinary compassion for animals and dreamed of one day being able to give them the same unconditional love and care that she so naturally gave to everyone around her. For Caddie, her dog Ferra was more than simply a dog. She was a beloved companion, a source of comfort, and a cherished part of her world. Ferra was Caddie's soulmate. And perhaps most fittingly, Caddie dreamed of one day creating an animal refuge of her own; a place where animals could be safe, loved, protected, and given the second chances they deserved. Caddie had a deep love and appreciation for music. She was teaching herself to play the guitar, embracing her creativity and curiosity along the way. Nearly everywhere she went, you could find Caddie with her headphones on, completely immersed in the music she loved. Music was a special part of her world and a beautiful reflection of her unique spirit. Caddie also found great joy in sports, especially slow-pitch softball. She loved being on the field, playing the game, and being part of a team. Softball gave her a place to have fun, laugh, challenge herself, and make memories with her friends. She loved the camaraderie that came with being part of a team and took pride in giving her best whenever she stepped onto the field. Whether she was competing, cheering on her teammates, or simply enjoying time with friends, softball was a special part of Caddie's life that brought her genuine happiness. Caddie was an exceptional student who was deeply loved and admired by her teachers. She was intelligent, curious, and always eager to learn. Yet, perhaps one of the most beautiful things about Caddie was the kindness she showed to others. She had a natural instinct to help and was often the first to lend a hand, whether something needed to be done, picked up, organized, or simply made a little easier for someone else. She never needed to be asked twice. Helping others was simply part of who she was. Caddie shared a truly special bond with her little brother, Hunter. He was not only her little brother, but also one of her very best friends and her favorite partner in crime. Hunter had a way of making Caddie laugh like no one else could, and together they shared the kind of bond that only siblings can understand; full of laughter, mischief, inside jokes, and countless memories. She loved him fiercely and was always there to look out for him, even when the two of them were getting into a little trouble together. Their bond was something truly special, and Hunter will forever carry the love of his big sister in his heart. Caddie is survived by her mother AJ Cooper, brother Hunter Cooper, grandparents Fred and Carla Cooper, Richard and Trena Gross, aunts and uncles Nick and Lacy Clausen, Allen and Amy Reinmeyer, Briane and Kathryn Miller, and Lucas Gross, cousins Kolten Kienholz, Mason and Henry Reinmeyer, Robert, Emma, Makayla, Margaret Miller, and her beloved dog Ferra and cat McNugget. Preceded in death by infant brother Camden Cooper and Uncle Shawn Kienholz. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Dawn Valley Chapel, 9940 Bush Lake Road, Bloomington, MN 55438, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for August 26th at 12pm, with a one-hour visitation prior to the service at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9600 163rd Street West, Lakeville, MN 55044.
