Blaise Jay-Marie Clermont Born the night of August 15th , 2016, at 6:20pm weighing 8lbs 3oz and 21in long. A beautiful baby girl, the first child born to her mom and dad, the first granddaughter for both sides of her family, and the first grandchild on her mom's side. The family favorite by far. Blaise was a sassy, smart, funny little girl who warmed and touched the hearts of every person she met. Her favorite colors were Pink and Teal. She loved Disney movies, her favorite being Beauty and The Beast. She also loved music, not just Disney songs but also soft rock like Blink 182 or Red Hot Chili Peppers and anything with a pop beat. The sound of chip bags, the doorbell ringing, naughty words, and funny accents are just some of things that would make her laugh. Blaise enjoyed the merry go round at the fair, the saucer swing at the park, walks with the family, and watching her favorite movies at home. Blaise was so head strong, such a fighter, she knew how to get what she wanted when she wanted it despite any obstacles. At the age of two, Blaise was diagnosed with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy, a disease we never heard of but now will never forget because of our sweet Blaise. MLD didn't rule Blaise though, she ruled it. She fought her fight and fought it in true Blaise fashion, beating pneumonia multiple times and covid once, her strength and resilience showed. Blaise told her family when she was ready whether we were ready or not, and despite all the pain we knew we'd endure we listened to her and brought her home. After 5 short years, 3 years fighting the fight as hard as she could, Blaise succumbed to her disease and peacefully passed away shortly after arriving home from the hospital on April 12th, 2022, at 6:55pm surrounded by the ones she loves and who loves her. Blaise is survived by her mother Bridget and step mom Ivy, father Anthony, little brother Sebastian, grandma's Melissa and Tamara, grandpa James, great-grandparents Marlys and Ron, Karen and John, Ruthan and James, and Patti, Aunts Jade, Danielle, Ava, Megan, uncles Harley, Joey, and Xander, cousins Myles, Amir, and Essence, and many friends that became family to her over the years who loved her just the same. We all will live life for her and make her proud. Rest in Rose's our sweet Blaise Jay-Marie
