Beverly White

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Beverly White, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who departed this life on June 28, 2026, at the age of 93. She passed away at her cherished home, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. Beverly was born on November 19, 1932, in Elgin, North Dakota, to Anita and Rudolf Hintz. Raised in a family that valued education and community, Beverly carried these values with her throughout her life. She graduated in 1950 from Central High in Young America, MN, and pursued higher education at the University of Minnesota, where she earned a bachelor's degree in education. Her passion for knowledge and her dedication to teaching inspired many young minds over the years. In 1957, Beverly met her life dance partner, Lawrence (Bud) White, at the prom ballroom. Their shared love for music and dancing blossomed into a beautiful marriage lasting 64 years until Lawrence's passing. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter, music, and the boundless joy of family. Beverly's legacy continues through her children, Emily (Scott) Beardsley and Dean (Tera) White, who inherited her love of life and commitment to family. Beverly was a devoted grandmother to Louis, Ozzy, and Emily, who were the light of her life. Her nurturing spirit extended to her role as a den mother for Cub Scouts, where she touched the lives of many young boys. She found joy in volunteering at her church and for school functions, always eager to lend a helping hand and spread kindness. Her hobbies were many and varied. Beverly had a green thumb and loved spending time in her garden, cultivating beauty and serenity. She was an accomplished cook and seamstress, creating delicious meals and beautiful garments for her loved ones. Above all, she adored being a "Grammy," showering her grandchildren with love, wisdom, and the occasional sweet treat. Beverly was known for her infectious love of fun and adventure. She cherished gatherings with family and friends, and her neighborhood parties and parades were legendary. Her and Buds wanderlust led them to travel widely, always returning with stories and souvenirs. In addition to her immediate family, Beverly is survived by her dear in-laws Carol Peterson, Pat Olson, and Lorraine (Bruce) Sanborn, as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends who will miss her dearly. Evening visitation will be held on Wednesday July 8th, 2026 from 4-7 PM with Funeral service on Thursday July 9th at 2:30 PM with visitation starting at 1:30 PM all at Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Chapel, 5125 W Broadway Ave, Crystal MN. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
