Bill Witta, age 85, of Minnetonka passed away May 25,2022. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Henry and Helen Witta, brothers Jack and Henry Witta and stepson, Daniel Fish. He attended Southwest HS and graduated from the University if Minnesota. Bill's titles we husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, friend, coach, hunter, fisherman, businessman and tree planter, to name a few. With his winning smile and love of people he was a natural salesman working as a Manufacturer's Rep. for Witta Sales, a company owned by he and his brother. Bill had a kind heart, was very positive, had a great sense of humor and always liked a good practical joke. He never let adversity get in his way. The things valued most were his love of God and time spent with family and friends. Those times included traveling, hunting, watching baseball, visits at the cabin and being the #1 fan at the Minnesota Blue Ox hockey games. A favorite was holiday gatherings with all grandkids present and loud. Survived by his loving wife of 41 years Kathie (aka "Punkin") sons Brett, Troy (Debi), Greg, Jay (Sara), stepson Michael Fish (Andrea) and daughter Dana Rommes (Mike). Grandchildren Bennett(Lily), Hunter, Adam, Jack, Ethan, Brody, Griffin, Brooks, Reid, Connor and Sophia. Funeral service is June 3 at 11 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 13505 Excelsior Blvd. Minnetonka Visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation also on Thursday, June 2 at Washburn-McReavy Eden Prairie Chapel 7625 Mitchell Road, Eden Prairie Private family interment at Lakewood Cemetery at later date Memorials preferred to Confidence Learning Center.
