Stephen Milan Zima Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Zima, Stephen Milan age 94, went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He bagan his journey on June 17th, 2022. Preceding him in death are his parents, Rev. Stephen Zima and Anna Kerestes, and his sister, Anna Ludmila Lovseth, also, his 1st wife of 26 years, Naida Corrine Zima. Stephen is survived by Joyce Lundholm Zima, his wife of 27 years, his son, Mark Douglas Zima living in California, his daughter, Noel Rand and two grandchildren living in Maine. Stephen's parents were born in Slovakia and spoke four languages (Slovak, Hungarian, German and English). Stephen and his sister were born in Mt. Carmel, a small coal-mining town in Pennsylvania. Stephen inherited a passion for the scriptures from his father, a Slovak Lutheran pastor, and studied and taught them most of his life. He enjoyed learning and was a student of Scriptures, Literature, Science, History, Art, and Poetry. In all of these he saw the greatness of God. Stephen served in the Army during the Korean War with the Army Engineers at the 6th Army headquarters (San Francisco). Later, Stephen worked as an Aerospace Engineer with General Dynamics. He traveled for them to Germany, South Korea, and Singapore, as well as Massachusetts, Florida and Texas. Interment at Bigfork Cemetery in Bigfork, MN.
