Gingerich, Rose Ann Velten Age 83 of Bloomington, Minnesota, passed away peacefully April 18, 2022. Preceded in death by husband, John; parents Ledvenia (Polking) and Aloysius Velten; siblings Aloysius, Rev. Robert, Mary Enzweiler. Survived by loving family; children Michele, John (Leslie Burgess), David (Barb), Suzanne (John) Scheffert; grand-children Matthew (Emily) Rolf, Izaac Gingerich, Nicholas and Andrew Scheffert; great grand-child Bennett Rolf; siblings Richard and Donald (Carolyn) Velten; and many nieces and nephews. Graduate of Saint Thomas School, Ft. Thomas, Kentucky; Our Lady of Cincinnati College, Cincinnati, Ohio. Rose Ann thoroughly enjoyed her life with her family and friends. She loved cooking, entertaining, gardening, music, travelling, and her Catholic faith. She started and ended her career working for the airlines, TWA in Cincinnati and Republic/Northwest in Minneapolis. Rose Ann had the honor to visit many churches and shrines such as Notre-Dame, Chapel of the Miraculous Medal, Fatima, and Lourdes. Visitation at Washburn-McReavy Bloomington Chapel on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 5-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St. Edward, 9401 Nesbitt Ave. S, Bloomington, MN on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior. Private burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Friday, April 29, 2022. Memorials preferred to the Church of St. Edward or to Village Shores, 6501 Woodlake Dr. Richfield, MN 55423.
