Robert Eugene Barrett

March 8, 1969 - October 11, 2019 Robert "Rob" Barrett Died unexpectedly on the 11th of October at his home in Chanhassen MN at the age of 51 years young. Robert is survived by his parents Dave and Jule Barrett, his wife Lynnette Barrett, sons Raymond and Adam Murillo, daughter in-law Run Murillo and granddaughter Lilliana. His brother David Barrett and sister in-law Shannon Barrett, and uncle Berrent Stoylen. Robert was proceeded in death by his grandparents Robert and Thelma Barrett, aunts Kathleen and Diane and uncle Herb Robert was born on the 8th of March 1968, in Minneapolis, MN to Dave and Jule Barrett and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1986. He married the love of his life Lynnette on September 12th, 1998; the two enjoyed 21 years of marriage together. Robert started his career as a collections agent with CPC in Eden Prairie in August of 2002, where he worked as one of five employees. With his tremendous work ethic and dedication to his team he became President of CPC in 2016 which now employs over 120 people; being an integral part of the company’s growth. Robert was an accomplished hunter and fisherman who won bass fishing tournaments held on several of the state of MN’s 10,000 lakes. Robert was a generous and dedicated man who was passionate about mentoring others. He was an active and committed member of youth outreach programs including the Treehouse fishing day, D.A.R.E fishing tournaments and most recently coached the Elk River high school fishing team on the Student Angler Tournament Trail. Robert also had a fondness of firearms and was avidly pursuing a Gunsmithing Licensure prior to his passing. Robert was a loving, caring, and devoted husband, son and brother that will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Robert's children remember him as a father that loved, supported and guided them through their lives. A service is scheduled for Friday October 25th, 2019 at Pax Christi Catholic Community 12100 Pioneer Trail Eden Prairie, MN 55347. Visitation will be at 10 am and mass will be held at 11 am. There will be a celebration of life held at Buca di Beppo 7711 Mitchell Road Eden Prairie 55344 after the service all are welcome. Flower arrangements should be sent to Pax Christi Catholic Community in Eden Prairie.
