Mr. Raymond Alexander McKenzie Jr.

March 13, 1935 - June 12, 2022

McKenzie, Raymond Alexander, Jr. 87, of Coon Rapids, passed away on June 12th, 2022 surrounded by his children after a long life filled with love and building memories. Preceded in death by his treasured wife of 39 years, Nancy. He is survived by his younger siblings Donald and Joan of Philadelphia, and his six children, Dawn, Roberta, Scott, Christopher (Traci), Carol (Daniel) Washenberger, Jerri (Shane) McGowan, and all of his cherished grandchildren. A generous spirit, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and valued good conversation and friendships. Though born and raised in Philadelphia, he perfected the long Minnesota goodbye, often pausing in the doorway to share just "one more story." There will be a funeral service at Coon Rapids United Methodist Church on Tuesday June 21st at 11am; visitation beginning at 10am.
