    Pamela Arlene Schmidtke

    October 31, 1948 - January 27, 2022

Pamela Arlene Schmidtke passed away unexpectedly at age 73 on January 27th at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. She was born on October 31st, 1948 in Denver Colorado. She was married to Steve Schmidtke on June 22nd, 1969. They were married 52 years! Pamela loved her husband, children, and grandchildren with all her heart. She cherished many trips to Green Bay to visit her older two grandchildren, Kyle and Kaitlyn and had the pleasure of seeing them grow up, graduate from High School, and embark on their college years. She was looking forward to seeing Kaitlyn's new dorm in February. She loved having her two younger grandchildren, Asher and Brady over for sleepovers and looked forward to attending all their sporting and school events. The day before she passed, she bought a shirt for Brady's upcoming band concert and was excited to see him play his trumpet. We know she would have been devastated if she knew how soon she would go and what she would miss but we take comfort knowing her spirit will be there front row and center. She also enjoyed taking her daughter Amy out for lunch and spending girl time with her and talking to her son Eric on the phone regularly. She treasured her sister Sandra who lives in California and enjoyed visiting her. She also was a member of the silver sneakers program through the YMCA and enjoyed walking, crafting, and going on outings with her friends there. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Stephen Schmidtke, sister Sandra Roberts, son Eric Schmidtke, daughter Amy Webster, grandchildren Kyle Schmidtke, Kaitlyn Schmidtke, Asher Webster, and Brady Webster. "A heart that's broken is a heart that's been loved" Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Chapel Luncheon following internment at Steve's House, 9800 Evergreen Avenue, Brooklyn Park
