Nancy Mae (Rondeau) O'Hara October 23, 1946 - February 10, 2026 Nancy Mae O'Hara, age 79, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, at her home in Burnsville, surrounded by the family she so dearly loved. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Nancy's life was defined by her warmth, intellectual curiosity, and an unwavering dedication to the service of others. Born on October 23, 1946, in Minneapolis to Felix and Jeanette (Walker) Rondeau, Nancy was the youngest of four daughters. She attended Edison High School, where she met her husband of 57 years, Tim O'Hara. The high school sweethearts were married on August 30, 1968, when they began their life together. After raising her daughters, Nancy pursued her passion for helping others by returning to school. She achieved a significant personal milestone by earning her master's degree in psychology from St. Mary's College. Nancy went on to spend 17 impactful years as a therapist at Alpha Human Services, where her empathy and insight touched countless lives. Nancy was a woman of many talents and interests. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, the delicate craft of bow making, and a good game of cards with family or friends. Some of her most cherished memories were made at Kavanaugh's Resort, surrounded by her grandchildren. As they grew older, she became their most dedicated fan, a frequent and proud spectator at every game, performance, and activity. Of all her titles, "Nene" was the one she held most dear. Nancy is survived by her beloved husband, Tim; her daughters, Erin and Emily O'Hara; and her six cherished grandchildren, Maddie, Morgan, Carter, Allie, Landon, and Maguire. She is further survived by her sister, Mary Westra; sister-in-law, Kathleen Staege; and many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Betty Grisim and Jean Thompson; and her infant brother, David. Service Information Sunday, February 22, 2026 Hillside Chapel 2610 19th Av. Donations to support Guardian ad Litem (GAL) services in Minnesota can be made through nonprofits like the Children's Law Center of Minnesota or CASA MN, which provide legal advocacy, training, and resources for children in foster care. Donations are used for legal representation, CASA Cares grants, and items directly benefiting children.
