Morris "Morrie" Glenn Paulson, age 95, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. Born in International Falls, MN on October 22, 1930, to Alfred and Gladys Paulson, Morrie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He is survived by his daughters Sherri (Dale) Roseen, Sandi Mannor, Salli (Joe) Rarick, and Staci (Howard) Williams; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Marguerite, his parents, his sister Alice Savold, and brother Don Viger. Morrie began working at fourteen in construction, later attending the University of Minnesota. He married Marguerite in 1953 and worked for Boise Cascade for more than 40 years, forming lifelong friendships along the way. After retiring, he and Marguerite enjoyed years of travel in their Bluebird motor home, splitting time between Minnesota, Arizona, and Canada. Their home was always open, and their generosity and hospitality touched many. Their marriage was rooted in deep faith, friendship, and abiding love-values they faithfully instilled in their daughters. Morrie was devoted to daily prayer, the Mass, and the Rosary. With the loving support of the St. Edwards Church Community, he was able to remain active in parish life and continue attending church well into his later years. A talented musician, Morrie played trumpet and piano, insisting all four daughters learn music as well. Family memories are filled with him playing lively tunes, singing to Marguerite, and filling the house with music. He also loved hunting and fishing, often returning with venison or moose-sometimes labeled "round steak" for the girls. In his final years, family and faith remained his greatest joys. He treasured church and breakfast outings with his daughters. Morrie will be remembered as a man of deep faith, unwavering love, and devotion. His final words were of Marguerite and God. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday February 20, 2026, at 11am at The Church of St. Edward at 9401 Nesbitt Avenue in Bloomington. Visitation will begin at 10am. A luncheon will follow immediately after the Mass. Interment in the spring.
