Monica Mae Pope

March 16, 1933 - April 6, 2022

Pope, Monica Mae (Dombrouski) age 89 of Minneapolis passed away peacefully on April 6, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Monica enjoyed the outdoors and walking around the lakes with her husband Harold. Monica was a great listener and a very compassionate, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister and aunt. She was passionate about her yard and the love she shared with her family. Monica was preceded in death by her parents John and Viola Dombrouski, her sisters Gloria and Joanne, brothers-in-law Gene and John (Jack), sister-in-law Adell Pope. Survived by Harold, her loving husband of 65 years, their children Mitchell (Linda), Spencer (Kim) and Paul (Gretchen), sisters Jean (Don) Birmingham and Kathy (Keith) Carlson, sisters-in-law Donna and Jean, brother-in-law Jack Piche, grand-children, great grand-children, family and friends. Memorial Service April 29, 2022 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior at the Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 West 50th Street, Edina MN 55436. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
