Michael Eugene Cooper

July 30, 1938 - January 2, 2022

Cooper, Michael E. Michael 83, of Bloomington (formerly Edina) passed into eternal life on 1/2/22 after 7 months of declining health. He was predeceased by parents, Gene and Lillian; brother, John; sister, Mary. Mike is survived by his wife of 62 yrs. Sharon; sons, Craig and Scott; daughter, Kelley (Jesse); grandson, Alex; sister, Audrey Reighley; brother, Dr. Bryan Cooper. Mike graduated from Edina H.S.; attended Gustavus Adolphus College & graduated from the U of M with a degree in Accounting and Business. He went on to pass the CPA exam and later opened his own CPA firm. Mike loved the outdoors & enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, beekeeping, landscaping, remodeling, football and hockey, Mike loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ & took joy in knowing that his family would join him one day. A Celebration of Mike's Life and Faith will be held on April 2, 2022 with Visitation at 10AM; Service of Praise at 11AM with a luncheon following at the church: Hillside Church; 4300 W. 98th St. located on 98th St. between Normandale Rd. and France Av.
