Marlys J Guise

October 28, 1936 - March 7, 2022

Guise, Marlys (White) Marlys was born October 28, 1936 in Nashua, Iowa to Claire and Juanita White. She passed away on March 7, 2022 in New Hope, MN after a long and courageous battle with dementia. As a child, Marlys endured many hospital stays and treatment of a rare and painful congenital disease which she continued to live with throughout her life. She bravely beat the odds and was an inspiration to many. She is survived by her children, Stacey Davis, Shelly Moen and Gary Frandsen; three brothers, one sister, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and second husband and closest friend, Philip Guise. She will be fondly remembered for her quick, often witty and cynical sense of humor and deep love for her family. A memorial service will be held in the spring. Marlys had a lifelong love of animals.
