Marlene Deanna Marble

December 17, 1937 - February 10, 2022

Marble, Marlene 84, of Minneapolis passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Marlene was passionate about interior design, color, travel, and Native American art and culture. She had an unusual memory for people and detail. Marlene knew exactly what she wanted and how she wanted it: the family appreciated her culinary precision when it came to her famous ginger snap cookies. She was preceded in death by her parents Myrle and Ray Johannsen, her brothers Tom and Jim Johannsen, and her grandson Arthur Nicolas Marble. Marlene is survived by her husband Jon Marble, her sister Kay Hallett, her son Tom Marble, her daughter-in-law Catherine Levieux-Marble and her grandson Alexandre Marble. A memorial service to celebrate Marlene's life will be held at a later date.
