Mark Richard Madison Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Madison, Mark Richard Age 59, of Eden Prairie, died July 5, 2022. Mark was born in Redwood Falls, MN, to Thomas and Marilyn "Pat" Madison on December 30, 1962. Mark, the youngest of three children, had a firecracker energy for life from the beginning. Growing up playing football and hockey, Mark enjoyed staying active which continued throughout his later years with his daily running and coaching of his children's soccer teams. After graduating from St. Thomas Academy in 1981, Mark received a B.A. in communications from the University of Minnesota in 1986. He was both an entrepreneur and worked in sales during his career. Mark enjoyed the simple pleasures in life like fishing, hunting, walks with the dogs, time at the cabin, cheering on any doomed Minnesota sports team and most importantly, spending time with his three children. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Pat Madison; and son, Carter. He is survived by his three children Maria, Jack, and Lauren; former spouse Christine; and brother Mike (Carrie) and sister Mary (Brad). Memorial service will be held at Wooddale Church, 6630 Shady Oak Road, Eden Prairie, MN, at 11:30 am on July 15, 2022. There will be a visitation with the family before the service at 10:30 am. A lunch following the service will occur at Wooddale. Mark will be remembered for his infectious laugh, his love for animals, especially his dogs, and his generosity to all.
