Marian Arlene Lidfors

January 29, 1922 - May 5, 2022

Marian Arlene (Berg) Lidfors went to her heavenly home on May 5, 2022 at 100 years of life. Born on a small farm near Bock, MN, she married Arnold Lidfors of Bock with whom she enjoyed 76 beautiful years of marriage before his passing. They spent most of their lives in St. Louis Park, MN, where they were active in the St. Louis Park Evangelical Free Church. Marian was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose warmth and hospitality welcomed many into her home and heart. She was a bedrock support to her husband and children, and her faith and prayers sustained them all. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mabel Berg, her brothers Fred and Weldon, her sisters Evelyn and Ruth, her son Roger and granddaughter Joya. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Miller (Pat), sons Robert (Barbara) and William (Bonita) grandchildren Jessica, Cherith, Dawn, Jeana, John, Brett, Anna and great-grandchildren Lucian, Theo, Mercy, Phoebe, Lucius. Visitation will take place at the Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel on Sunday, May 22, 2:00-4:00. Family graveside service on Monday, May 23, 11:00 at Borgholm Cemetery, Bock Minnesota. Memorials may be gifted to Bread of Life Ministries for Joya Children's Home in India or Kairos Hospital in Uganda, or to Presbyterian Homes & Services Foundation-Optage Hospice.
