Margaret Tschaekofske

January 29, 1923 - March 21, 2022

Tschaekofske, Margaret Silvia Margaret left us on 3/21/22 to join her parents, Arnold and Agnes Anderson and 9 of her brothers and sisters in Heaven. She was born the 3rd of 14 children on 1/29/1923. She is survived by her son James Johnson (Jean), grandson Don Johnson (Cathy), granddaughter Denise Porter (Jason), step grandchildren Scott Sjoquist (Melissa), Matt Sjoquist, and David Schumacher (Kim), great-granddaughter Lorelei Chavez (Abraham), and great- great-grandsons Max, Caleb, and Jacob Chavez, and step great- grandchildren Owen Schumacher and Sven and Anika Sjoquist, brother Lynn Anderson, and sisters Janice Anderson (Roy), Donna, and Marlys. She married her first husband James Johnson in 1940 and they farmed by Colman South Dakota until 1952 when they moved to San Diego where she worked in an aircraft plant. In 1958, They moved to Flandreau South Dakota where she worked in a nursing home. After James died in 1961, she moved to Minneapolis and worked at Honeywell until she retired. During this time, she married Pete Tschaekofske and after they retired, they moved to Knife Lake. After Pete died, she moved to Fridley for several years. She did a lot of volunteer work for many years. She will be missed very much by all her friends and loved ones.
