Lisa Marie Harris Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

After a courageous battle with cancer, Lisa Marie Harris, age 63 of Hopkins, Minnesota passed away peacefully at her home on June 27th to join her beloved mother and father, Adeline and Jerry Harris. She was surrounded by family and friends, and her adorned furry companion, Oreo. She is survived by her brother Scott Harris (Georgene), niece Kailey Cordioli (Michele'), nephew Colin Harris (Kimberly), great nephew Maxwell Harris, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also preceded in death by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A graduate of Eden Prairie High School and Winona State University with a Paralegal degree, Lisa set off to adventure early in her career to Los Angeles. There she worked with high profile cases, enjoying the challenges and entertaining lifestyle in the City of Angels. In 1990, she returned to her home state of Minnesota and pursued several different career paths including working in sales and the food and beverage industries. For the last decade, she worked in her dream job as a realtor for Keller Williams Realty Integrity Edina helping countless clients reach their own home ownership dreams. Lisa loved traveling, especially to Italy where she indulged in the delicious flavors of the country and replicated her favorite recipes at home. She appreciated nature and often loved to hit the trails around her home with her dog Oreo. She will be greatly missed by her family, dear friends, colleagues, neighbors, dog park groupies and so so many more. Lisa's family would like to thank her dedicated M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital medical staff, Intrepid Hospice of Roseville, MN, Keller Williams Realty and especially the loving family and friends who supported her throughout this difficult journey into her final days. A private celebration of Lisa's life will be held at a later date.
