Linda Diane Peck

April 29, 1944 - March 16, 2022

Linda Diane Peck, age 77 of Bloomington, MN passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. She is predeceased by her parents Lyle and Jean Oftedahl and brother Larry Oftedahl. She is survived by her husband Gary of 50 years; sisters Peggy (Richard) Boyer, Kathleen Petermeier; brother KrisJon (Imina) Oftedahl; sister-in-law Charlene Oftedahl; brothers-in-law James (Barbara) Peck and Bruce Peck; many nieces and nephews and wonderful lifelong friends. She was born in Bemidji, MN on April 29, 1944 and grew up in Park Rapids MN. She attended college at Bemidji State and Metro State Universities and worked for the FBI as a Stenographer for four years. Linda had a variety of jobs in her life but travel as a flight attendant was her passion allowing her to see new places and make friends everywhere she went with her infectious smile and wit. She loved tennis, skiing, biking, adventure travel, music, and her beautiful gardens. She was an excellent tennis player and played in the women's league at Northwest Racquet Clubs. Linda was also an excellent skier and instructor. As an avid reader she joined a book club with her flight attendant friends and enjoyed many parties and gatherings, also one of her favorite things. Linda brought laughter and friendship to everyone she met and she is sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda's honor to Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital Home Care Services and Hospice or CHI St. Joseph's Health Hospice Care, Park Rapids.
