Leslie Ann Johnson

March 16, 1938 - March 18, 2022

LeslieAnn Johnson went to be with the Lord March 18, 2022. Born to Marion and Vance Johnson March 16, 1938, Leslie lived in New York City and Newfoundland while Vance and Al Johnson Construction Co. built projects for the Department of Defense during WW II. They returned to Minnesota, and Leslie went to schools in Edina and Hopkins, graduating from the University of Minnesota (Alpha Delta Pi). Leslie's working career was as an Executive Secretary at Piper Jaffray in downtown Minneapolis. Character and compassion were her strength, always speaking from her heart, never uncertain. From a family of seven, James and Eric have already left us. Leslie lives on in the hearts of Andi (Dr. Dave Fischer), Steve (Colleen), Shelley, and Dana; nieces Sarah (Corey, and Logan), Katherine (John, and Julia, Margo); nephews Jesse (Angela, and Amanda, Michael); Ben (Stasie, and Vance, Ryan), David (Roni, and Max, Olivia), Max (Jessica, and Jack, Lucy), and John ; dear friends: Mary, Gail, Leslie's godson Mark Holden, Sandi, Barb; and Vito. Thank you , Andi, for support, excellent and loving care. A memorial service will be held at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel on April 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM, visitation at 10:00 AM and a reception following the service. If you desire, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children or the Animal Humane Society.
