Mrs. Leslie Rene Hoppe

October 11, 1943 - February 17, 2022

Leslie Rene Alden-Larson-Hoppe, age 78, passed in peace on February 17th, 2022. Born on October 11th, 1943, from a Social Studies teacher Les Alden and Brainerd beauty queen, Mardelle Anderson. Leslie spent much of her childhood with her two sisters Alyce and Barbara, splitting the year between Nisswa lakes and Robbinsdale malt shops - working resorts in the summer and serving Cherry Coca Colas in the winter. Leslie is proceeded in death by parents, Leslie and Mardelle Alden, sisters Barbara Grove and Bonnie Alden. She is survived by husband Mark Hoppe, Sons Todd (Amber) Larson Mount Dora, Florida, Scott (Linnea) Larson Rogers, MN, Lars Larson Robbinsdale, Minnesota and Daughter Denise (Scott) Sporer Rogers, Minnesota 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Leslie is a graduate of Robbinsdale High School and spent majority of her life in Robbinsdale. Leslie cherished her children. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for her kids - and grandchildren. Even friends that stopped by the house were welcomed with one of her killer grilled cheese sandwiches - or on the right night if your lucky - some family recipe Walleye. She also loved her animals, classic movies, gossiping to her sisters and of course original Broadway Pizza. Visitation 2:00-3:00 with Celebration of life at 3:00.
