LaVern Susanna Joswiak

November 26, 1938 - February 1, 2022

Joswiak, LaVern Susanna Age 83 of Spring Lake Park, MN, passed away peacefully on 02-01-2022 at Good Samaritan Society in Waconia, MN after a battle with ovarian cancer. LaVern was born on November 26, 1938, in Buckman Township, Morrison County, MN, to Nicholas and Amelia (Geschwill) Dillenburg. She was raised on a German speaking family farm and attended school in District 115. The Geschwill cousins taught her to speak English. She moved to Minneapolis and worked outside the home at a variety of jobs. She retired from McGill/Jensen, Inc. in St. Paul. She was a hard worker. She enjoyed her yard, flower garden, puzzles, and watching football. She is survived by children, Kim (Bruce) Bergo, Sandy (Dave) Haag, Tom (Laura) Joswiak, and Mike Joswiak; grandchildren, Ryan Bergo, Justin (Maria) Bergo, Amber Joswiak, Alicia Joswiak and Amanda Joswiak; great-grandchildren, Elliott Demo, Owen Demo, and Gabriella Bergo; sisters-in-law, Beverly Dillenburg and Cathy Honer; nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, baby daughter, brothers, Richard (Dick) and Francis; ex-husband, Donald Joswiak; 3 infant brothers, nephew, Mark Dillenburg; and nieces, Carrie Dillenburg and Michelle Dillenburg.
