Kenneth Charles LaCroix

July 24, 1946 - March 26, 2022

Kenneth Charles LaCroix was born to the late Joe Kenneth Charles LaCroix and Marjorie M. Gaslin on July 24, 1946 and went to heaven on March 26, 2022. Survived by, daughter Nicole J. Wilkins (Norman), Son Kenneth C. LaCroix II (Julia), grandchildren Asher and Giovanna LaCroix, Sister in-law Nora McLellan and Nephews, Todd (Jennifer) Boulden, Noah Boulden, Joseph LaCroix and Albert LaCroix. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy J LaCroix of 53 years, his parents and 2 siblings Jeff and Brad and spouses. Ken was a veteran of Vietnam War. He joined the Army in 1966 at the age of 20. He was commissioned on a special missile team. He was acknowledged as a sharpshooter. After the Vietnam War, he went to work with his father and brothers at the family-owned Ken's Metal Finishing shop. Soon after he became a father to Nicole and KC. With his entrepreneurial spirit, he realized he needed a different steadier income, therefore, began Ken's Finishing Home Repairs. Nicole kept him busy with many BDC Management Co. projects and he recruited his son KC part time. Passing on the entrepreneurial spirit. Ken's favorite hobby was Silhouette shooting and air gun shooting. He carried his sharpshooter skills to the Silhouette shooting competition. He had many 80x80 finishes. He collected, bought, sold, and repaired many of guns for friends and family. He customized and made his own bullets. A celebration of Ken's life will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, interment at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 11:00am, 7601 34th Ave So. Mpls. MN 55450 Meet at Assembly Area 3. Following the service at the grave site the family invites you to have lunch at American Legion Post 99, 5600 34th Avenue So. Minneapolis, MN 55. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
