Kaitlyn Rose Rossow

July 11, 2002 - June 10, 2022

Kaitlyn "Kat" Rose Rossow Age 19, of Savage, MN, passed away unexpectedly in her home on June 10th, 2022 and was reunited with loved ones in heaven. Kat was born on July 11, 2002 and was born in Fargo, North Dakota. Kat and her parents moved to the Twin Cities in 2004 to Eden Prairie for a year and then moved to Savage. Kaitlyn graduated from Prior Lake High School. During high school, her first job she was employed at ValleySCARE. She loved working and scaring people in character! After ValleySCARE, she worked at Cub Foods in Savage as a cashier and made friends with so many customers, adopted many grandparents and was a bright shiny star to many of her colleagues. After Cub Foods, Kat joined Target working as a Guest Advocate. She loved what she did at Target, enjoyed being a big sister to all making so many friends with team members and customers. Kat was a fun-loving girl, she loved her family and friends, loved her job and cared deeply for everyone. She was funny, creative, loved to laugh, spend time with friends and family. Kat is survived by parents Gary and Christie Rossow, her sister Madelyn Rossow, Grandma Celia Rossow, Great Aunt Arlene Rossow, Jeff Pitzel, Steve (Shelley) Priem, Phil (Tammy) Torborg, Steven Hoeppner, Andrea Pitzel, Aaron (Rachael) Codden, and Christina Codden. She is also survived by cousins and many close friends, who we know loved her and will miss her big heart. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Carol Holmen, Gene Rossow, Michael Pitzel, great grandparents Oscar (Loretta) Holmen and Adeline (Delmar) Rossow and Allen (Lisa) Krehlik. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends and will remain in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held at Washburn-McReavy Werness Brothers Chapel located at 2300 W. Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minnesota on Thursday, June 16th from 4-7 pm. Funeral service to celebrate the life of Kat on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 11:00 am at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church, 2200 W. Old Shakopee Rd, Bloomington. We will gather together at Oak Grove to remember our wonderful daughter who will be greatly missed.
