Julie Ann Kosmo
December 28, 1942 - February 1, 2022
Julie Ann Kosmo was born on Dec. 28, 1942 to her parents Jack and Helen Jones in Eau Claire, WI. She was preceded in death by daughter, Kimmy and granddaughter, Claire. She enjoyed many years volunteering her time at Como Park Zoo, Nativity of Mary School, shuttling children from place to place, bible studies with friends and countless hours of bingo. If there was a high number cover-all, she would be there. Julie is survived by children: Steve (Lisa) Kosmo, Lisa (John) Ericksen, Teresa (Scott) Shinn, Michelle (Pete) White, and son-in-law Adam Krause; grandchildren: Nikki (Ryan), Johnny (Ali), Maddy (Jake), Emmy (Jamie), Kourtney, Rebecca, Liem and Tae; great-grandchildren: Jack, Faith and Lincoln as well as other family and friends. Mostly, Julie was dedicated to enjoying (and annoying at times) her grand/ great grandchildren. An avid sports fan of not only MN Wild and Twins but any event the kids participated in. She could go from supporting the Jaguars to Eagles, the Gophers or Agates to the Panthers all in a blink of an eye. Julie also had a passion for music and musicals (even dreamt of becoming a Rockette). She would put on an album or cd and sing as loud as she could. A tradition her children and grandchildren will happily carry on. Funeral services at 11 am on Thursday at Saint Edwards Catholic Church, Bloomington. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Private family interment to follow. Livestream of service available via the following link: https://stedwardschurch.org/funerals
