Hieu Duc Nguyen

Vincent Hieu Duc Nguyen, 36, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Hieu was born on October 4, 1985 in Dekalb, Illinois to Hao Van Nguyen and Maria Thi Do. Hieu is survived by his son Roman and daughter Lily, both of whom he loved and cherished more than anything else. Hieu loved being a father and both Roman and Lily were the light of his life. He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and his brother in law Minh. He is survived and lovingly remembered by father Hao, mother Maria, sister Kristina, sister Monica, brother Hung, sister Samantha and husband Ricky, brother Hoan and wife Nhi, youngest sister Stacey and husband Nick. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who love and truly miss him. A visitation will take place on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 2PM - 4PM, followed by a prayer service in Vietnamese from 5PM - 7PM at Washburn-McReavy in Coon Rapids. An additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 9:30AM - 10:30AM, followed by a Catholic Vietnamese Funeral Mass at 10:30AM at The Church of Epiphany in Coon Rapids.
