Harvey Roger Wige

July 4, 1932 - June 18, 2022

Wige, Harvey Roger, Age 89. Born July 4th, 1932. He went to be with Jesus on June 18th, 2022 after a brief illness. Preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Helen; daughter, Shelley (Tom); daughter-in-law Suzanne; and grandson, Evan. Survived by his loving wife of nearly 15 years, Marjorie (Maggie). Daughters; Marie (Drew) Petersen and Jennifer Murphy. Sons; Timothy and Allen. Grandchildren; Joye, Hope (Justin), Amber (Steven), Zach, Chris (Lindsey), Kyle, Ellie, Levi (Olivia), Abby, Anabel, Amelia, Adalyn, Andrew (Melissa), Annika, Hayley (Tim), Quinn, Hans, Olive, Finn, Henry, Colby, and Blake; As well as great-grandchildren, Nic, Xavier, Jesse, Lily, Savannah, and Austin. Harvey was a beloved husband, father and friend and will be sorely missed. He spent 21 years of his life with the United States Air Force. After that he was with Univac, Graco and Maranatha. After retiring, he and Helen roamed the country with Roving Volunteers in Christs Service (RVICS). After Helen became ill, he became chief caretaker until her passing . It was after this that he married his Maggie. Together they traveled, joined RVICS for 5 years. She was his joy! Harvey enjoyed attending church, reading, fancy colored suits and ties and riding his E-bike. He loved his 4th of July birthday wore a red, white and blue outfit every year. We ask everyone wear red, white, and blue at his celebration of life on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 2 PM visitation at 1 PM all at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel, 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids.
