Eugene Theodore Epstein

February 2, 1929 - March 12, 2022

Epstein, Eugene "Gene" Theodore age 93, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 12, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Morris and mother, Rose, brother Bob, and sister Delores Silver. He is survived by his best friend, soulmate and beloved wife of 44 years, Carole; children Howard (Tami), Barb (Steve Karolewski), Bruce, and Layni (Deane) Myers; grandchildren Amanda (Zack) Aguon, Adam and Mia Epstein, Jill (Mike) Dawson, and Steven (Aimee Martin) Karolewski; great-grandchildren Ollie and Eden Aguon, Chase and Alex Karolewski; cousins, nieces, nephews, many close friends, and special friend Kevin Hudulla. Gene was a well loved educator in the Minneapolis Public Schools for 38 years and will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral service 11:30 am Tuesday, March 15th at United Hebrew Brotherhood Cemetery Chapel, 2605 W. 70th 1/2 St., Richfield, MN 55423.
