Ernest Glenn Drager, Jr.

Dr. Ernest Glenn Drager, Jr. Age 73, of Bloomington, MN passed away peacefully at home on April 8, 2022. Dr. Ernest Drager served 4 years in the United States Navy. Ernie was very proud to have the honor of serving his country. After serving our country, he graduated from the University of Minnesota Veterinary College in 1983. He opened Bush Lake Pet Hospital in 1984 and France Avenue Pet Hospital in 2004 and retired February 15, 2022. Ernie met Lola Lukens in 1986 and was married on May 25, 2013. Ernie was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Over the years, Ernie practiced enjoying life whether it be traveling with his wife, golfing with his classmates or the neighbor boy and friends, gardening, and fishing with his best friend or grandson. Ernie was a truly unique character and loved by all. He will be forever missed but never forgotten. Ernie is survived by spouse Lola Drager, daughters Brenda Mann, Melissa Knutson Duncan (Gary), brother Mike Drager (Sandy), sister Patricia Sadler, brother-in-law Larry Lukens (Cathy), nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Katherine (Neutz) Drager, father, Ernest Drager, Sr. Ernie's memorial service is to take place on Monday, April 18th at Washburn-McReavy Bloomington Chapel located at 2300W. Old Shakopee Rd., Bloomington, MN 55431.
