Lang, Elizabeth Jane (Kazmerzak) January 12, 1933 - January 23, 2022 Elizabeth (Betty) born in Bryant, South Dakota Betty attended Lake Preston High School, where she excelled in band (saxophone) and theater -receiving many honors and awards. Betty then left home for Minneapolis, MN where she met Keith Lang. They got married September 12,1953. In 1963, they purchased a 3-acre lot in Minnetonka and built "The Arch House," a beautiful place to raise their four boys. Through the years, she worked as a very skilled stenographer, office assistant, and ultimately, office manager. Betty loved the outdoors, and played golf passionately. She loved gardening both outside and inside their warm, sun-filled home. Betty was a vibrant, charismatic, and entertaining personality. She was a talented cook, a trait she passed on to her four sons. Her legendary homemade spaghetti & meatballs as well as "Nonnie's FAMOUS SHRIMP DIP" will continue to be enjoyed forever. She was an avid reader, and blessed with a sharp mind her entire life. She enjoyed complex jig-saw puzzles, and loved beating Wheel-of-Fortune contestants. Betty loved her family and enjoyed meaningful conversations with them, daily. On January 23rd, 2022 Betty made the journey home to be with the lord. She said she hoped the flowers are as beautiful and fragrant in heaven as they are here on earth. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Keith, parents Frank and Olive Kazmerzak, Her brothers Douglas and Richard Kazmerzak and her sister Janette Mead-Kazmerzak. Betty is survived by her brother Larry (Janice) Kazmerzak, and her sister Barbara (Bob) Toomey-Kazmerzak. Her four Sons, David (Debbie), Paul (Wendy), Tom (Connie), and Mark. Her 13 Grandchildren, Jessica (Kevin) Lang-Fahl, Danielle (Jared), Kelly (Nik Hukkerikar) Lang, and Alex Lang. Dustin (Kathy) Lang, Sarah (Matt) Gustafson-Lang, and Kevin Lang. Tia, Cambria, and Anton Lang. Zach and Abby Lang. Izzy Fremel. Her 4 Great Grandchildren, Easton and Corbin Lund, Kiara Hukkerikar, and Jordy Lang. Finally Betty is survived by very many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. Memorials, In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Special Olympics Minnesota or the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Please join us for a celebration of life honoring Betty Lang.
