Trupe, Dolores E. age 100, of Columbia Heights. Born Oct. 4, 1921, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Feb. 3, 2022 after a brief illness. Dolores is survived by three sons, Eugene, Roger (Kathy), and Jerry (Rita); four grandchildren, Heather Schmidt (Mike), Angie Novitsky (Nick), Katie Clark (Kyran), and Alex Trupe; three great-grandchildren, Alayna and Natasha Novitsky, Ronan Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband E. A. Trupe; parents Roy and Leona Godfrey; brother Marlo Godfrey and sister Lucille Brandriet. Dolores grew up in South Dakota but lived most of her life in Minnesota. She always worked outside the home, worked hard, and lived a good life with friends and family. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, crocheting, and driving her car. Dolores will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. On February 12th, a private family service was held at Washburn-McReavy Northeast Chapel, with interment at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
