Dennis Alfred Vegel

January 8, 1956 - March 4, 2022

Vegel, Dennis A. age 66, of Corcoran, formerly Coon Rapids, passed away March 4, 2022, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, surrounded by his family after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Janice; daughters, Ashley Vegel (Steffan Busch) and Christine (Sam) Johnson; Brother, Gary (Shelley); nephews, Cory and Andy (Nicki); and great-niece Josie; brother-in-law, Donald Newton; grand-puppies, Dolly and Penny; other family and many close friends. Dennis was born in Kenosha, WI, making him a true Wisconsin sports fan. Go Pack Go! He was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing with (and beating) his friends frequently, hunting, fishing and other activities that allowed him to spend time outside. He was strong in his faith and very devoted to his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Hedy; his sister-in-law, Marilyn Tyler; and his best friend, Mark Stetter. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, March 12th at 11am at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson Street, Anoka. Visitation one hour prior to services at church at 10am.
