Dean Loren Larson

November 6, 1929 - February 26, 2022

Dean L. Larson Dean Loren Larson passed away on February 26, 2002 at the age of 92 years. Dean was born on November 6, 1929 to Walter and Anna (Moline) Larson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He and his twin sister were born the fourth and fifth out of six children. Dean graduated in 1947 from Southwest High School in Minneapolis. Dean professed to serve his Lord and Master at the age of 15. He was baptized when he was 18 years old; at the same time as his future wife, Lois Husiman. Dean was drafted into the US Army in 1952. He came home on a furlough to marry Lois Husiman on December 24, 1952. Dean and Lois had four children: Steven, David, Diane and Elaine. They had a wonderful marriage for over 67 years until Lois passed in 2020. Dean worked 20 years at Farmers and Mechanics Bank, 15 years at Midwest Federal Savings and Loan in the banking business, and 15 years at Cargill in accounting. Dean was very self-diciplined in his daily routine. Dean and Lois hosted a fellowship meeting in their home for over 60 years; touching many lives with prayer and care. Dean deeply loved his family. He kept a meticulous home, yard and garden. They loved to host their ministers, entertain family and friends in their home. He had a strong faith and commitment to God and His Son, Jesus Christ. He remained very faithful until the end. In his final hours he was surrounded by his four children. He had a clear mind and expressed his deep love to each one present and gave final words of encouragement. Dean is survived by his Children: Steven (Maureen) Larson, David (Rebekah) Larson, Diane (Aaron) Ross, and Elaine (Dale) Beddome. Grandchildren: Michael (Kristina) Larson, Matthew (Megan) Larson, Jonathan Larson, Paul Larson, Maurisa Larson, Daniel Larson, David Larson, Renee (Michael) Keller, Rhonda Ross, Aaron II (Jaclyn) Ross, Randy (Amanda ) Ross, Nathan Beddome, Jason Beddome. 15 Great Grandchildren and a host of friends. Dean was preceded in death by his wife Lois; his parents Walter and Anna Larson; and his siblings Norman, Warren, Russell, Doris (Bjorklund) and Wally.
