Our "Babe" floated out of this world in her sleep on February 26, 2022. This space is too small to describe her outsized personality, infectious laugh and kind heart. Born in Bogota Colombia on September 6, 2001, Claudia was the light of our lives. She graduated from Washburn High School in 2020. She was a sophomore psychology major at Augsburg University in Minneapolis where she played soccer, her lifelong passion. She had a soft heart for others in need and was a fierce advocate for BIPOC persons. Her favorite place was the cabin where she could out tube anyone and swim for hours off the raft. A volleyball player, car singer, collector - chiefly tennis shoes, Claudia was also a lover of dogs, especially her cockapoo Penny. Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and cousin Gabby. She leaves behind her parents Brian Murray and Shelly Gill Murray, sister Brigid, brother Seamus, maternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, 15 cousins, and friends too many to count. Visitation Fri, Mar. 4, 3-7 pm at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 50th & Knox Ave S, Minneapolis. Visitation Sat, 12:30 - 2 pm, 2 pm funeral service Mount Olivet Lutheran Church. Private Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Claudia will be wearing tennis shoes so you should too.
