Christine Inez Nelson

Nelson, Christine Inez Our strong and generous mother, Christine Inez Nelson, took her final breath on Saturday June 18, following a long and arduous battle with lupus. Born 1/1/47, she was smart, funny, thoughtful and unassuming. She earned a Masters degree in Psychology and helped many as a Clinical Director and Counselor at Fairview Recovery Services from 1985 to 2013. She is preceded in death by her father Henry, mother Inez, her stepson Jimmy, and her brother Roger. She is survived by her brother Jeff, her children Doug, Karen, Roger; and her grandson, Noah. A funeral will be held on Friday, June 24, at Washburn-McReavy chapel at 5000 West 50th & Hwy 100 in Edina. The visitation at 1:30 p.m., followed by a service and refreshments at 2:30.
