Carl Joseph Stampfle

Carl Joseph Stampfle In loving memory of Carl Joseph Stampfle, age 94, of Arden Hills, MN. Carl passed away on April 16, 2022. Preceded in death by his wife Beverly, parents, Charles and Katherine, sisters, Ann Mathias (Joe), Marie Kunz (Bob) and daughter, Barbara. He is survived by children, Chuck (Lori), Kathy, Mary Karls (Tim), Tom (Carol), Pat (Cathy), 8 grandchildren: Katie (Josh), Krissy, Colleen, Michael (Alyssa), Peter, Tracy, Kayla and Sammy, and 2 great-grandchildren: Brielle and Avery. Carl grew up in the Como area of St. Paul. He spent much of his youth working with his dad in the Butcher Shop which his dad owned, also located in the Como area. He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII ('44-'46) on the Sub-tender, USS Sperry. He married Bev on July 2nd, 1949, at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Oakdale, MN. He spent 37 years working for Paper Calmenson Corporation and retired in 1985. Carl also served 10 years as Scout Master of Troop 93 at St. John the Baptist in New Brighton, and later, served 4 additional years. Carl and Bev spent a lot of time at Fool's Lake over the following years and made many friends along the way. Visitation will be held from, 9:30 to 10:30 on April 25, 2022, and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 835 2nd Ave. NW, New Brighton, MN.
