Carl Edward Hosler

February 3, 1927 - March 12, 2022

Carl Hosler age 95 Preceded in death by Wife, Phyllis, Parents Edward and Mary, Brother Paul, sisters Joann, Jean, Francis and Geraldine. Survived by children Gail Bilgutay (Hassan), Cheryl Udell (Barry) , Craig (Sue), Sheila Palermo (Mike), Karla Schwab (Mark), Terri Wheeler ( Rich) , Tim ( Julina). 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. Sisters, Elaine Rahm and Madalyn Keefer. Carl was born in Columbus Ohio February 3,1927. He enlisted in the Navy at the age of 16 and served in WWII. He loved baseball and went on to play in the minor leagues where he met his wife, Phyllis, of 52 years. He was a man of strong faith and loved his Christian community at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, which he attended for more than 50 years. He loved his family, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Later in life he enjoyed golf and played into his 90's. He will be greatly missed by the many who loved him. Private family funeral services to be held.
