Alice Anderson Berry
August 11, 1933 - March 2, 2022
Alice Anderson Berry of Chanhassen entered up through the door to eternal life to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 2nd. Born August 11, 1933, she was the daughter of Dr. Karl Anderson M. D. and Crystal Justus Anderson and grew up in Deephaven, MN. Alice graduated from Macalester College with a degree in Elementary Education. She was the devoted wife of Dr. Ronald Berry M. D. for 52 years, most of which was spent at their home she designed in Golden Valley, MN. She is survived by their children, Dr. Jonathan (Rebecca) Berry M. D. of Rhinelander WI, Brook (Karen) Berry of Silver Spring, MD, Elizabeth (Russell) Libbey of Auburn, ME, and Anne (Steven) Hatton of Maple Grove, MN. John Johnson of Madison, WI was a special friend later in her life. She is survived by 24 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. Alice loved the outdoors, especially being on, in, or near water. She loved Lake Superior, spending many summer days at the cabin up north. Alice was a woman of faith. After raising her family, she received her Master's degree and became a licensed minister so she could care and show Jesus to others, especially the elderly. Alice was a woman of great energy and drive. She was an avid reader and lifelong learner. She was also a tremendous encourager. All who knew her felt her love and enthusiasm for life, especially her grandchildren whom she adored and prayed for continuously. Per her request, in lieu of flowers please send memorials to Trout Lake Camp, Pine River, MN. That is where she gave her life to Jesus Christ, the most important event in her life, almost 75 years ago.
