Yovanna Rebeca Armenta Eguizabal

Yovanna Rebeca Armenta, age 47, passed away on July 13th, 2025 in Edina, Minnesota. Yovanna was born on September 20th, 1977 in El Estado De Mexico. She is the daughter of Marcos Armenta and Myrna Eguizabal. She grew up in La Cuidad Azteca and moved to Minnesota when she was 16 years old. She worked helping her community for over 25 years, graduated with her G.E.D, Associates Degree, and became a certified correctional officer. Yovanna was married to her soulmate and sweetheart Genaro Ramiro Gonzalez. Together they had 4 children: Duina Armenta, Alberto Armenta, Ramiro Gonzalez and Gezelle Gonzalez. They had 1 grandchild named Melanie Gonzalez. Yovanna was known for her kindness, compassion, care, perseverance, philanthropy, wisdom, strength, and humanity. She influenced and touched many lives with her beautiful and powerful spirit. Yovanna was passionate about her kids, family, friends, plants, dancing, reading, spiritually, education, health, and herself. She was an incredibly devoted wife, mother and friend. She left behind a powerful and loving legacy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2nd from 11am-3pm, at The Basilica of Saint Mary. Donations and gifts may be made to her family. Yovanna will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace. Yovanna Rebecca Armenta, falleció a los 47 el 13 de Julio 2025 en Edina, Minnesota. Yovanna nació el 20 de septiembre de 1977 en El Estado de México. Es hija de Marcos Armenta y Myrna Eguizábal. Creció en La Ciudad Azteca y se mudó a Minnesota a los 16 años. Trabajó ayudando a su comunidad durante más de 25 años, obtuvo su G.E.D., continuó con su título de asociado y se certificó como Guardia Penitenciario. Yovanna estuvo casada con su alma gemela, Genaro Ramiro González. Juntos tuvieron cuatro hijos: Duina Armenta, Alberto Armenta, Ramiro González y Gezelle González. y una nieta llamada Melanie González. Yovanna era conocida por su bondad, compasión, cariño, perseverancia, filantropía, sabiduría, fortaleza y humanidad. Influyó y tocó muchas vidas con su hermoso y poderoso espíritu. Yovanna era una apasionada de sus hijos, su familia, sus amigos, las plantas, el baile, la lectura, la espiritualidad, la educación, además de la salud y cuidado de sí misma. Fue una esposa, madre y amiga increíblemente dedicada. Dejó un legado poderoso y amoroso. El servicio funeral se llevará a cabo el sábado 2 de agosto, a partir de las 11:00am hasta las 3:00pm, en la Basílica de Santa María. Donaciones y regalos pueden ser otorgados a la familia. Todos quienes conocieron y amaron a Yovanna la extrañarán profundamente. Descanse en paz Yovanna Armenta Eguizábal.
