Todd Patrick Fedie

Todd Patrick Fedie, 48, of Coon Rapids, MN, passed away on November 6, 2014 with his family at his side after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer. Todd was born on March 18, 1966 in Durand, WI to Arthur and Mary Beth (Lund) Fedie. Todd spent the first year of his life in Durand, and then lived out his remaining years in the Minneapolis area. Todd graduated from Blaine High School in 1984 then attended the U of M and the Control Data Institute. Todd worked many years for Blue Star in Minneapolis (where he met his wife Robin), following that he worked at the Computer Service Center in Columbia Heights and Blaine, MN ending his career as a computer programmer for Schauer Global Health of Burnsville, MN. On May 25, 2002, Todd married Robin (Hagedorn ) in Stillwater, MN. Todd and Robin enjoyed many camping trips with Robin’s parents, Roger and Jeanette, son-in-law Josh and beloved granddaughter Ashlynne and Josh’s parents Visuth and Danielle. Todd and Robin enjoyed traveling together for work and to see loved ones throughout their marriage. Todd was an inspiration to all through his battle with cancer, during which his faith in God and his love for his family was seen by all who knew him. Todd spent his last years living life to the fullest; camping, watching history and science fiction shows, attending antique car shows, doing yard work, reading, tinkering with electronics, and loving on his and Robin’s beloved pet cats; Alex the Cat, Miss Garfield, and Jayda. Todd is survived by his loving wife and best friend Robin, son-in-law Josh Bailkey and their beloved granddaughter Ashlynne of Chetek, WI. Parents Arthur and Mary Beth Fedie and in-laws Roger (Jeanette) Hagedorn of Stacy, MN, and Shirley (Richard) Pominville of Deltona, FL. Sisters Deborah (Kris) Goschy of Eagle Lake, MN and Lisa Fedie of Minnetonka, MN. Nephew and Niece Benjamin and Julia Goschy both of Eagle Lake, MN. Grandmother, Francis Fedie (The Heritage of Elmwood), and Robin’s Aunt, Sharon Drinnin who helped lovingly care for Todd along with Robin during the last two months; as well as many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, sisters-in-laws, and dear friends. Todd was preceded in death by his beloved step-daughter Lianne Bailkey, grandparents Gordon and Florence Lund and Hubert Fedie, and Aunts Jessie Abraham and Irma Komro. We would like to thank his doctors, Emiro Caicedo Granados, Gatum Jha, and Physician Assistant Lucia Rhienhardt of the University of Minnesota and Masonic Cancer Center along with the many nurses that cared for him lovingly through so many chemotherapy regimens over the last 4 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Family. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday 10:30 am, Epiphany Catholic Church,111th & Hanson Blvd NW Coon Rapids, Interment at Epiphany Cemetery.
